 Course objectives

The Revit Structure Essentials training course has been designed to teach students the concepts of Building Information Modelling and how to use the tools for parametric building design and documentation using Revit Structure. It is aimed for the participants to be able to use all the features of Revit and to take a project from schematic design to documentation.

After completing this course, students will be able to:

• Understand Building Information Modelling and Revit Structure
• Set up a structural project using the fundamental tools and 3D design tools of Revit Structure
• Create foundation, reinforcing, framing and slab
• Coordinate and work with Architectural Revit models
• Create documents and learn printing techniques
• Use the presentation tools and present efficiently your project

  Who should attend?

• This course is ideal for structural engineers and students who study in this department and want to build their careers in this field.
• It is recommended that participiants have a basic knowledge of construction techniques and Structural terminology.
• No prior Revit knowledge is necessary but experience working with AutoCAD is beneficial.
• It is recommended that you have a working knowledge of Microsoft supporting systems.

   How will I learn?

• You will have the opportunity to work on a real project with our experienced instructors in our virtual courses .
• We limit the number of participants to 5 as we aim for all participants to receive the right amount of individual support and attention.
• Our trainings will be on ZOOM.You just need an internet connection and a web browser to connect to our online classrooms.
• We observe your  progressing with the exercises and steer you in the right direction when you need our help.
• You can share your screen with our trainer, and allow them to control if you need assistance. You have plenty of time to make hands-on exercises and ask questions.
• 3 months technical support after the course. Our revit instructors will provide 3-month technical support to help you with your post-course problems.
