Course objectives

In this training, the primary objective is to teach students how to combine 3D models from cross disciplines into one scene and report on issues requiring investigation and resolution, and how to use animation to convey ideas more clearly with Autodesk Navisworks.

After completing this course, students will be able to:

• Open and append models of different disciplines and save in the Navisworks format
• Review and report using measure and markup tools
• Use the Animator and Scripter features to create interactive animations
• Use the TimeLiner to create construction simulations of project models to check the validity of schedules
• Use the Clash detective to highlight potential issues such as on-site clashes
• Use the Presenter and add materials, lighting and backgrounds to project models

Who should attend?

• This course is ideal for beginners of Navisworks
• Students should have a good working knowledge of an Autodesk application, such as AutoCAD or Revit
• It is recommended that you have a working knowledge of Microsoft supporting systems.

How will I learn?

• You will have the opportunity to work on a real project with our experienced instructors in our virtual courses .
• We limit the number of participants to 5 as we aim for all participants to receive the right amount of individual support and attention.

• Our trainings will be on ZOOM. You just need an internet connection and a web browser to connect to our online classrooms.

• We observe your  progressing with the exercises and steer you in the right direction when you need our help.
• You can share your screen with our trainer, and allow them to control if you need assistance. You have plenty of time to make hands-on exercises and ask questions.
• 3 months technical support after the course. Our revit instructors will provide 3-month technical support to help you with your post-course problems.
