 Course objectives

  In this training, the primary objective is to teach students the concepts of Building Information Modelling and how to use the tools for parametric building design and documentation using Revit Architecture. It is aimed for the participants to be able to use all the features of Revit and to take a project from  conceptual through the stages of design, analysis, documentation and visualisation.

  After completing this course, students will be able to:

  • Describe the benefits of Building Information Modelling
  • Use the fundamental tools and 3D design tools of Revit Architecture
  • Create  construction plans , detailing and drafting views
  • Create documents and learn printing techniques
  • Use the presentation tools and present efficiently your project
 
 

  Who should attend?

  • This course is ideal for architects, structural engineers , interior designers and all designers working in the field of architecture, students who study in these departments and want to build their careers in this field.
  • Students should have a basic understanding of construction techniques and Architectural terminology.
  • No prior Revit knowledge is necessary but experience working with  AutoCAD is beneficial. 
  • It is recommended that you have a working knowledge of Microsoft supporting systems.
 

   How will I learn?

  • You will have the opportunity to work on a real project with our experienced instructors in our virtual courses .
  • We limit the number of participants to 5 as we aim for all participants to receive the right amount of individual support and attention.
  • Our trainings will be on ZOOM.You just need an internet connection and a web browser to connect to our online classrooms.
  • We observe your  progressing with the exercises and steer you in the right direction when you need our help.
  • You can share your screen with our trainer, and allow them to control if you need assistance. You have plenty of time to make hands-on exercises and ask questions.
  • 3 months technical support after the course. Our revit instructors will provide 3-month technical support to help you with your post-course problems.
